UNADJUSTEDNONRAW_thumb_51d

I print and dye onto natural fabrics, & plant dye which I usually do on silk fabrics. I use whatever is abundant and catches my eye in season. I have barely been able to go past flowers yet as they continue to inspire and fascinate me with their surprise results.

My current passion which seems endless is felting, particularly nuno felting as the combination of silk and wool is endlessly fascinating and a great vehicle for creativity.and the Gallery is currently stocking many of my pieces.

I also make one-off wearables and occasionally homewares from these pieces.  There are many scarves, kaftans and other clothing at the Nest that are products of my experiments.  I have become a bit of a keen upcycler, cutting up existing good quality pieces and adding them together usually with an addition or two of my own dyed or printed fabrics. I also make wall art, hangings, stitched works and works containing eye-catching driftwood.

Some of my work is on my website, including my printing, art pieces and 3d works.
